March 17, 2024 Comments Off on Land use committee updates for March 2024 (no meeting)

The STNA land use committee meeting previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 19 has been CANCELED. Please see the updates below. . . .

Updates

– SE 59th Ave. and Woodward Visioning. Scott Cohen from the Missing Modal Links Program at the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be at our March general meeting to discuss design two realignment concepts for this intersection to support safe routes to school. Come see and give your feedback!

UPDATE (3/26/24): Here’s the project webpage. See the 3/21 presentation slides below. Email Scott directly with any questions or feedback. Also, he did hear back from BES, and it sounds like a bioswale is not appropriate for this intersection.

– Building a Better 82nd. Nicole Peirce, PBOT Capital Project Manager, will be at our March general meeting to discuss proposed changes to 82nd Avenue. Join us!

UPDATE (3/25/24): See the 3/21 presentation slides below. Email Nicole directly with any questions or feedback.

– Land Use Notice: 7705 SE Division St. in Montavilla Neighborhood (LU 23-107799 TIR AD). The developers of this project met with us on 1/16/2024. You can read more about that meeting and the proposed project here. They are seeking a Transportation Impact Review as an alternative to the objective development standards. Read more in the notice. Comment deadline is April 4, 2024, at 5 p.m.
