As the construction of Findley Commons nears completion, the development team and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church are hosting a couple of events to celebrate.

All are welcome. This is your chance to tour this new addition to South Tabor, 35 homes for previously houseless veterans. More information here on St. Mark’s Facebook page.
Jess from Do Good Multnomah gave me a tour of the building recently, and I was impressed by the thought and care that has gone into it — everything from its energy efficiency to the width of the hallways to the colors of the walls was designed with the needs of the future residents in mind.
It’s one thing to see this new building from the outside. But these events are your chance to look closer and learn more about what Findley Commons represents for those who will live here.
