Dear neighbors,
We have been watching the events around the Coronavirus pandemic unfold with some concern, and paying close attention to the advice and directives from public health officials and government entities. Southeast Uplift, the district coalition South Tabor affiliates with, issued an “urgent recommendation” on March 12 that Neighborhood Associations suspend their meetings at the present time.
The City of Portland ONI Guidelines, which define how we may conduct our business, permit virtual meetings under “extraordinary circumstances.” We will therefore continue with our Land Use and General/Board meetings this week as scheduled, but we will hold them virtually (that is, participation will be solely by phone or video conference).
Anyone who wishes to participate or listen may dial in by phone, or if you prefer, may connect via Internet as a video conference. Instructions will be posted at least an hour before each meeting’s scheduled time at southtabor.org.
Please be safe, and take precautions to avoid unnecessary exposure! In times like these, neighborhood groups can be a great tool to help us meet each other’s needs.
Our Land Use meeting agenda and connection info for March 17 is available here.
Our General/Board meeting agenda for March 19 is available here.
