The next pick up date for the SE Food Project green bags is Saturday, August 10th. Have you bag out by 10 am.

We picked up 11 bags in June filled with 174 pounds of food for the SE Portland Food Project then delivered the bounty to the SE Community Food Pantry (SECC) for distribution to more than 700 families. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could double the pounds from South Tabor for the next pick-up on August 10th.
The motto of this food program is “You want to help . . . We make it easy!”
Here’s how:
Step 1: Each week, you buy just one extra non-perishable food item when you go shopping.
Step 2: Store it in our green Food Project bag.
Step 3: On the 2nd Saturday of every other month, a neighbor will pick up the bag and bring it to the local food bank.
