STNA received a notice (dated 1/24/20) of a Type II Proposal at 7740 SE Powell Blvd. in the Foster-Powell neighborhood. This is the hotel building on the south side of Powell, currently being used as a family shelter. From the notice:
The applicant proposes to install two new modular buildings on the site to support the shelter. Modular building A will be used as a kitchen and modular building B will be used as a community room and dining room. The applicant requests approval of the following Adjustments to Zoning Code requirements for the proposed modular buildings. . .
STNA was notified because the site borders South Tabor, but Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association (FPNA) is the neighborhood association that can take a position on the application. Of course, anyone is welcome to comment on it.
Comments are due to the case planner by 5 p.m. on 2/14/20.
