Our neighbors in the middle of South Tabor had a great turn out at their annual block party in celebration of National Night Out last week. Brenda Reddaway, block party coordinator had this to say about the event:
“We had our annual block party on SE 64th Ave this last Tuesday. There were between 80 – 90 people in attendance, our biggest turnout to date! We had several musical acts, a jump rope/gymnastics demonstration, a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses, and a potluck with food supplied by the neighbors and some of the local businesses. There is some talent in our neighborhood! There were some new faces at the block party, and lots of kids! It’s great to see our neighborhood growing in a positive direction.”
