STNA voted to support a letter submitted to the Portland City Council by MTNA, Arlington Heights, Sierra Club, Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility, Friends of the Reservoirs, and others regarding Water Bureau plans to increase water bill costs.
We are excited to announce that “How To Train Your Dragon” will be the featured “Movie in the Park” hosted by Warner Pacific College and co-sponsored by STNA, MTNA, Friends of Mt. Tabor Park, and Portland Parks and Recreation. Mark your calendars for August 20th. Local bands will open the evening.
The position of STNA president will become vacant in two months. If you are interested in helping your neighborhood and would like to represent the association in the community, consider volunteering for a two-year term. The election will be held at May 19th meeting.
